tiny taipei

i love coming across new, unexpected places. it's been at least 5 years since i last stepped into the Times Square Mall & i was welcomed with such feast to my eyes. Tiny Taipei is located in its new fashion area, on the 3rd floor.

^ my nephew, Wysh & i. taking this little guy on little adventures was one of the highlights of this trip. we look alike, don't you think?

he's cute as a button.

looking up into darker perspectives.

looking up into darker perspectives.

vivid colors, bright lights, neon signs, tasty delights, quirky retailers in such an intimate settings. i feed on the energy of this place, it's different from anywhere else.

i remember leaving & telling Ken this should be my next destination if i ever feel the need to shop for new clothes. i saw small boutiques with beautiful clothes on display, with no big brands to speak of. in my mind i couldn't help but think there are the small-scaled entrepreneurs, fashion designers who probably need a big break but living day-to-day with so much passion.

and the food. the food are too tempting. enough for me want another visit.
