people-watching, admiring facades and happy lanterns hanged across the compound -- it was a perfect day to be out in the city, after a morning spent in a workshop fixing some problems we've had with the car. we had lots of fun and while looking for a few essentials for our upcoming adventure, i got a little snap-happy.

this guy in the white shirt is the best companion i could ever ask for. ^

what a week. this was the first time we're out shooting with a DSLR, and it's pretty darn exhilarating. regardless of the outcome (lots more to learn!) -- to say that i'm obsessed might be an understatement :)

p.s people are fascinating, don't you think?
