the lookout point

it's too bad that the old KL Lookout Point got closed down several years ago. a fact we didn't know about til we drove to the entrance to find a locked gate and abandoned compound, earlier this month.

so K made a U-turn down the hill and we stopped by this spot where we could also get a view of the city.

well, what's left of a view. it was super hazy. all we saw were buildings covered in thick haze. nothing new there, KL. still we hung around for two hours, watching street vendors setting up their mini 'restaurants', getting ready for customers by dinner time. soon enough the mosquitoes started attacking. i should've brought along the repellent spray but it was too late for me to grumble then.

we got out of the area shortly after the sun sets, straight to dinner. i was craving for fried chicken!
