hamburg and on the go — looks like film 002

because hamburg on a whim (well, not really, i planned the train trip crossing the borders from denmark and across the water on a huge ferry the size of a shopping mall - before i even left kuala lumpur).

it felt like a whim because i did not get any sleep after work that friday. i boarded the train at 2am, saturday morning. i kept myself awake after almost a day of no sleep, because i was traveling alone and i didn’t feel safe in the many unknown territories - while k googled places for me to go (i was no longer functioning haha) but i explored anyway after checking in to my hotel - and had one of the best time of my life out there. i spent 2 days and a night in hamburg - i do need to pull out the photos i took with my camera - but here’s some from gudak - in all its unpretentious glory.

hamburg - it was a very difficult solo trip, exhausting beyond my expectations - but i’m glad i did it. all the wheat beer and the sights of fischbrötchen made it worth it.

some of these photos were taken while i was out and about, also when i was about to leave denmark for the first time.
